Where To Find Me – Ukulele Original
Dedicated to "Sparkle of Jewels in November" Download mp3: www.mediafire.com Dm Bb FA 1) You can find me on the roof overshadowed by a tree where the morning sunlight filters through the green. In my hand a cup of tea and the papers of today tell me stories of the world, I don't care to read. Chorus: You know, you know, you know where to find me. where to find me. You know where to find me. 2) Still memories of you keep coming back most likely when I least expect them and they make me sad. And still I cry sometimes when I'm alone or when I see some items that you left, I stashed but couldn't throw away. The stones we found on the beach when all bad things seemed out of reach and life still rang with joy and careless ease. You know... 3) These little stuffed IKEA animals you had lined up on the string that wouldn't hold the curtains, now live in a cardboard box. And I recall when you explained, how much you liked them, since they didn't look like normal animals and if I couldn't see?! I never understood why you left you didn't care to explain didn't want to discuss anything just said I'd always be your friend. You know... 4) For too long I've been waiting, I'm so tired of fighting the blues cannot fill the hole inside me, that you left behind. So I tell you where to find me I'll be sitting by the tree where the morning sunlight filters through the green. You know...
By the time Michael and Lola reached the doorway, Andy, Alex and Jay had caught up with them. "Mother! We have some guests," Lola called into the small house. It was obvious to all that this was an infirmary. A row of empty beds were lined against the wall. Privacy curtains were pushed to the side, unused. Some had faint traces of blood on them. On the left, the opposite side of the beds, past the kitchen were two openings to two small bedrooms. "The privy is out back, through that door there" Lola said. "The what?" Andy asked. "The bathroom," Alex explained. Lola seemed unaware to their small conversation, as she continued to direct them, "You men can take any of the beds in the infirmary." "Who are these fine young men," a small, frail woman in a night dress exclaimed, walking into the room with a napkin drying her hands. "Mother..." Lola began, but was interrupted by the woman. "Excuse my dress, I didn't expect guests. And what find guests we have; you must be soldiers, of high rank, from the city, if I am correct." Alex immediately started playing along' "Yes, we come from the far away land of New Jersey, my friends, Jay, Andy and Michael are part of the band Honor Society." "A band?" Lola asked, as if she didn't know what the word was. "Oh, I fear we do not have the proper lodging for healthy soldiers. Now a sick one we can handle," Lola's mother let out a nervous chuckle, "But we will do the best we can. Now, it is late, my daughter Lola here will take care of you ...

you can go and get "black out" fabric, which is thick and blocks out the light. Then you can do it yourself, try using a website like howto.com best of luck!

Beautiful song Dirk! I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling so down. I hope that writing about it helped. It does for me – I think the best thing I’ve got out of starting to write songs is to be able to put emotions into song. I hope you’re doing ok. Only 77 more days to the UWC!

@BornAgainJeeper Thanks so much, Alex! Moral support from friends is really what you need in such situations. Thanks again for that, my friend. P.S. I’d have some boiled peanuts on you now, but unfortunately, they only have roasted ones here. Alright, here’S to you! *munch* *munch*
