be moldy?i was going to wash them in a big bucket,do i just use a light detergent and rinse,also can i hang them up wet with the windows open is that the best way for them to dry as they are big and cant go in the machine,i just want to freshen them up,and what are the best ways to get rid of cigarette smoke in a room besides air fresheners it just masks it any Natural products i can use,and for washing windows besides cleaners with chemicals can i use vinegar is it the white vinegar or the apple cider vinegar just want to freshen up a dining room thanks

I looked on the Internet and I saw cheap ones, floor-length ones, custom made ones, none of which I wanted. Also, I'd rather go to a real store to see exactly what I'm buying before I buy it, since it has to match the rest of the decor.

I have some velvet curtains I want to turn into a costume, but after unpicking the stitching on the curtains, I am left with holes showing where the needle went through. I have tried gently brushing these, but to no effect! Is there anyway to get rid of these holes?
I have washed the material on a gentle wash hoping this would help, but it hasn't!
