I'm going to buy some blackout fabric curtain lining thats 145 in width and 100 in length. Do i just cut it in half and sew it on my curtains or is their an easier way to use them?

I have bought a nice pair of curtains but they are very light fabric I need to line them to make them look better ( they are already lined but too light) what is the easiest / quickest to go about this . thanks

I would suggest purchasing another, similar weight fabric and some iron on fusible web tape (especially if you don't sew). Use the current curtain as a pattern and cut the fabric about 1/2 inch bigger. Fold the raw edges under and fuse it to the original curtain with the fusible web tape.
