Question by Joe C: Should curtain/valance rods be hung above the molding or under the molding right above the glass?
There is a 6"-8" molding above the window and I don't know weither to hang the valance at the top or under the molding just above the glass. The home was built in the Late 1920's if that helps.

I hang it above because you can always get longer top curtains. If you hang it below you can see the molding and it won,t look professional.
